About Vintage Candy Shop

Nestled in the heart of historic downtown Lancaster, the Vintage Candy Shop offers a nostalgic trip down memory lane, with hundreds of novelty and retro candies. Our ice cream counter serves hand-dipped local Kreider Farms ice cream, sundaes & banana splits plus lots of vegan options & drinks made with Lancaster County Roasters Coffee. With a working vintage cigarette vending machine, plus toy & candy quarter machines, there’s something for everyone. Our Vend-O-Rama machine is stocked with classic chilled chocolates. We freeze-dry our own candies on site. All of our crystal gem candy {Khohakutou} is made by hand and air-dried in the shop! Concession window directly on King St. with outdoor seating.

Vintage Candy Shop is like a walk down memory lane in sweet tooth form! Hundreds of candies to choose from, all labeled with their decade of origin, not to mention nearly 10 flavors of vegan ice cream for those of us who don’t tolerate dairy well:) I was impressed by the antique candy cases and candy cigarette machine in working order! Truly a place to treat yourself and enjoy tastes from years past!

This place is so cute! Adrian was very helpful and friendly… the vibe is fun and I’ll def be back! Amazing goodies and delicious ice cream!

When I walked into the store I was thrown back in time from the decor, atmosphere, and of course the candy!! I never knew the years of some of the candy until I was reading everything. I was really surprised as to what I learned! This is the perfect place to bring your family! They have local treats and coffee. They also have an old fashioned ice cream bar where you can get all the classics. Tables and chairs to sit at while eating your ice cream creation and games to play with your friends!! This was a brilliant idea to open!! So thankful I stopped in here!! The staff is welcoming and educated on everything they sell!!

This is for the drink/ice cream side specifically (since I’m not a big candy person). The coffees and other drinks (both iced and hot) are all very good, the service is great, and the drinks are cheaper compared to the other small coffee spots around here which are definitely more bougie. Also, they’re open 7 days a week, which is super convenient (and also sets it apart from other places around.

Very cute store! It just opened up downtown Lancaster, and it's very spacious, has a lot of selection of vintage candies, and has some good ice cream options! We went in for the first time and it was a nice visit. We got some candy and ice cream, and prices were reasonable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Great place overall!
